Today is the test day of Adult School.

Test

Today was there the test and I took the test level2.
It was doing during 9 o'clock and 10 o'clock.
Perhaps I think the result is not bad.

Teacher said "maybe you will take the test around 18~22 March" and she said "We must take Easter vacation around 25~29 March" too.
I thought I would like to have religion of something in my mind.(it's joke)
I said enjoy your vacation instead.

  Ray is twenty-six and he's single. He's a bus driver in Chicago.

Magitでpushする直前にsshの鍵のパスフレーズを入力する

私はsshの鍵をgithub用、bitbucket用で作っていて

eval `ssh-agent`
ssh-add githubの秘密鍵の場所
ssh-add bitbucketの秘密鍵の場所

という風に.xprofileに設定していたのですが、
私はlazyな人間なのでパソコンを起動するときにパスフレーズを入力するのが
やになってきたのでmagitでpushするときにssh-addするようにしてみました。

500MBまで通信料無料のFreedomPopに契約しました

アメリカに行くので500MBまで
通信料タダの FreedomPop に契約してみました。
ただし,契約時にデポジットをはらう必要があるので
その分のお金は必要です。
その料金は機種によって違いますが、私が契約した
USB接続できる無線ルータは90＄くらいでした。

手順

以下のサイトから情報を入力します。
http://www.freedompop.com/home.htm

最初にzip codeとE-mailアドレスを入力します。
まだアメリカの全てのエリアで利用できるわけではないので
自分が住むとこのエリアを入力して
利用可能か確認しましょう。

利用可能であれば、
どの機種を使うかの選定の画面に行きます。
私がやった時は、PC用のUSBのタイプ、
何台か接続可能なルータータイプ、
iPod touch用のカバータイプの3種類でした。

次にスピードが早くなるけど月何ドルかかかるよーっていう
サービスをさり気なく進められたので、
No thankというリンクをクリックして
次に進みました。(リンクが小さくてちょっと悪意を感じました)

次にbilling情報やshipping情報を入力します。
私は知人の家に送ってもらうことにしました。
入力が終わりactivateをクリックすると、自分のメールアドレス宛に
login passwordとか書かれたメールが来ます。
あとは届くのを待つだけ…

届いたら

アメリカに到着後、届いたルータをセットアップしました。
ssidはFreedomPop_{xxxという名前で}(xxxに数字が入ります)
パスワードは最初"freedompop"と何ともタダのりしやすそうな
パスワードだったのでパスワードを変更しました。

パスワードの変更方法

1. FreedomPopでネットにつないだ状態にします
   PCでFreedomPopの無線を検知したら、それに"freedompop"という
   パスワードを入れて届いたFreedomPopでネットを利用できるようにします。
   
2. パスワードの変更は192.168.1.1にブラウザからアクセスし
   (httpとかいれるアドレスバーに上の数字を入力してください)
   左側のloginというところでパスワードの入力を求められるので
   "admin"と入力します。(adminは初期パスワード,取説に書いてあります)
   ログイン後、Device Setup -> Passwordからこの管理画面のパスワードの
   変更ができます。
   
3. また同じくWi-Fi-Settingsの項のBasicから
   "ssid"と"Wi-Fi Password"を変更できます。
   

…私は管理画面のパスワードと無線ルータのssid,パスワードを変更しました。

おわり

現在何台の機器が利用しているかは192.168.1.1のページを見るとわかります。
アメリカにきて知人からこのルータを受取りましたが、
すぐに設定できました。アメリカに長く滞在する方には
いいのではないでしょうか？
ちなみに Google Voiceを利用した携帯の通話 もFreedomPopを介して
おこなえました。アメリカって便利なサービスが多いですね！

最近America Los AngelsのGerdenaのAdult schoolに通っています。。。
Adult Schoolって何？ていうとアメリカの移民向けに
セカンドランゲージとしての英語を学習する場所みたいです。

授業の教科書の例題、最初のRiver Stが自分がいるStで
次に目的のSt(ここではThird Av)に歩いてもらって、
そこで左にまがって、継続してThird Avを歩いてもらって
右手か左手かに目的の場所が見え、向こう側(across)に
何か(SOMEPLACE)が見えますよというような感じ…
とっさには難しいかも。。。

walk along the third Av, you'll see the PALCE on the LEFT/RIGHT,
across from the SOMEPLACE.

あと、アメリカ国内の電話番号でgoogleからの電話に
番号を入力し承認する必要があるので、
これをクリアできないと以下を見ても意味がありません。

番号の取得

google voice のGet a voice numberから取得します。
途中でアメリカの電話番号を聞かれ、聞かれた番号に
電話がかかってきて、ブラウザに表示された番号を
そのかかってきた電話から入力し承認します。
僕の場合、知り合い番号に連絡して承認しました。

携帯で使うには…

僕の環境がnexus4なのでandroidのtalkatoneというアプリと
google voiceというアプリを利用しました。
talkatoneが通話用で、google voiceが
SMSでのやりとり(アメリカだとtextっていうみたい)と
voiceemailの利用(なんか留守電がここに入るっぽい)
通話に関しては、sipdroidでsipアカウントを取得して
とかいろいろやり方はあるみたいですが、
talkatoneはとくにsipアカウントの部分は気にせずに
利用できたので、これにしました。
僕はアメリカでのデータ通信についてはFreedomPopというのを
利用していますが、これを利用して知人との通話を確認しました。

問題点

1. google voiceアプリでtextでやり取りする場合、
   こちらの日本語が相手に表示されずerrorが出ました。
   相手の日本語は表示されました。(相手はiPhone)
   
2. talkatoneのcontactsの検索がしょぼい
   虫眼鏡から検索したいけどできないので
   contacts(連絡帳)から利用しています。
   

そんなに連絡取る方ではないので、
僕は不自由はしていないですが、気になる人は
いるかもしれませんね。

まとめ

アメリカ国内は無料ですが、アメリカ-日本間だと通話料が
必要なのでgoogle voiceにcreditを最初に収めた方がいいと思います。

Las Vegasのツアーに行きました

2013/2/12~16にかけて中華系のLas Vegasのツアーに
知人と行って来ました。

2/12

この日はLos Angelsの空港(LAX)からHoward Johnson Fullertonという、
アナハイムにあるホテルに移動しそこで一泊しました。
LAから空港まではタクシーは高いので、相乗りのprime time shuttle
というシャトルバスの会社を利用しました。
(super shuttleとか他のシャトルバスの会社もいろいろあります)
Howard Johnson Fullertonでは特になにもなく、
カップ麺とアメリカのテレビを見てました。
ディズニーランドが近くにあるというので期待しましたが
別のHoward Johnsonのホテルでした。

2/13

この日はLAからLasVegasに向け出発しました。
途中でファッションアウトレットという場所によりました。
巨大な水着のにいちゃんとねえちゃんの像が置いてある変な場所でした。
その中のゲーセンで変なぬいぐるみを発見したので、
写真に収めました。

LasVegasには16:00頃到着して、ミラージュの火山とか
ベラッジオのゴンドラに乗ったり、フーターズで
ご飯食べたりしました。

2/14

この日はグランドキャニオンの西の方に行きました。
アメリカのインディアンのホピ族のテントのようなものを
再現した観光客向けの場所に行きました。
それと途中でHoover Damによりました。アイス買ったりしました。
17:30にベガスに戻りトレジャーアイランドの海賊船のショーと
ベラッジオの噴水とチョコレートファウンテンとparisのエッフェル塔と
フリーモントストリートの頭上に流れる光のショーを楽しみました。
途中まで歩いて移動したりしてましたが、歩き疲れて
この日からタクシーをよく利用しました。

2/15

ミラージュの secret garden とマンダレイベイの shark reef
新フォーコーナーのコカコーラの店とM&Mの店に行って来ました。
MGMグランドのカジノとシルク・ドゥ・ソレイユのカー(Ka) にいってきました。

2/16

この日はツアー最終日なのでLAに帰る前にホテルのCircus Circusで
最後にカジノでゲームをしました。
ビギナーズラック？で帰る前の一時間で200＄くらい勝ちました。
LAに帰る途中でM&Msのチョコレート工場とサボテン公園によりました。
ただ小さい所であまり見所はなかったです。
他にもTanger Outletsというところに途中でよったので知人に服を
買ってもらいました。(自分の誕生日が近かったので)

とりあえずいったところとかをダラーっと書きました。

2/11のたべもの

ついにアメリカにきました。
今日はこちらのハンバーガーと夕食はほしいもとリンゴ
あと食べ残しのラーメン、こっちは量が結構多くて
食べきれない。。。
なので、余ったのをもらったりしました。
容器を用意してくれるので、助かりました。

helm-migemoが表示しない場合の対処法

私の環境だけかもしれませんがhelm-c-aproposの候補が
グローバルな変数のhelm-use-migemoをtにした時、
表示されませんでした。
helm-c-sourcesを色々調べていたのですが、
どうやら、helm-c-sourcesの中に(candiates-in-buffer)が
あるとうまく表示してくれないようです。

検証

以下に検証用のコードを用意しました。
scratchバッファなどに貼って評価すればためせます。

コメントアウトしている`(candidates-in-buffer)'を
コメントアウトを外して評価すると私の環境では
うまく探してくれませんでした。

helm-c-aproposをどうするか

なのでhelm-c-aproposをどうしようか考えたのですが、
そもそも日本語入れねーし！って思ったので、
以下のようにアドバイスしてhelm-c-aproposでは利用しないようにしました。

他にもhelm-use-migemoでうまく出ない候補はあるかもしれませんが
上の方法でエスケープはできます。
aproposの候補では、`(candidates-in-buffer)'を4つのソースから
使っていたので、テスト用にひとつそのソースを持ってきて
(candidates-in-buffer)をなくした状態で試したのですが、
なぜか候補がでませんでした。。。
他にもなにかあるかもしれませんが、最初の検証用の
コードで確認はできたのでhelm-migemoと相性が悪いのは
確かかと思います。

helm-in-buffer…

helm.elの説明をみると

Note that `(candidates-in-buffer)' is shortcut
 of three attributes:
(candidates . helm-candidates-in-buffer)
(volatile)
(match identity)

のように書いてあるので

を変わりに設定するのか？っと思い、
一個ずつ候補削って試したら、`(match identity)'
の部分が原因みたいです。

がんばりたい人は
helm-ff-match-fnを参考に
helm-string-match-with-migemoを入れるのがよいのでは
ないでしょうか？
私はダメ人間なので、アドバイスで逃げようと思います。。。

まねして書いてみました。 だいたいこんなの持ってくんだ程度の参考になれば。。

必須のもの

• パスポート
  ないと話にならないので

  私の場合はカナダへの申請は4週間くらいで来ました

おすすめ

• 海外転出届け(国民年金、国民健康保険)
  印鑑、免許証など必要
  印鑑登録証明を作っていた場合,使えなくなる。
  住民税を払わなくてよくなるので、おすすめ
  
• 国際免許証
  海外で運転するのであれば必要
  運転免許の試験場で申請すれば即日発行っぽい
  近くの警察署で2週間くらいかかった。
  発行日から一年なので、出発するぎりぎりのほうがよい
  
• 国際学生証
  いろいろ割引が効くらしい
  もし学生だったら、放送大学に入る手も…
  いろいろ種類があるけど私がとったStudents isicは
  12月から期限が変わるので出発するぎりぎりのほうがよい
  
• 抗生物質もらう
  海外で病気になったときのため、、、
  懇意のお医者さんがいれば相談してみてもいいかもしれません。
  保険聞かないけどとか言われるかも、話のわかる人なら
  よきにはからってくれるかもしれません。

  風呂とかシャワーするときに
  穴が開いてるので引っ掛けやすい、
  ワイヤー付き南京錠でバックパックに引っ掛け予定

  衣類がちっちゃくなるので

確認したほうがいいもの

• 確定申告
  私は出発2/10なので1月中にすませました
  
• 住民税の支払い親に頼む 6/10くらいに通知が来る
  確定申告すませて、前年の給与とかもとに住民税の支払いが
  来るので親に代わりに払ってもらう予定、代わりにパソコン上げた。
  
• 免許の書き換え時期
  運転免許や各種国家資格など、
  私は、出発前に運転免許の更新があるの知らずに肝を冷やしました。。
  

永住権やワークビザで期間延長を考えている場合

他にもあると思いますが、とりあえず以下を用意しました。

• 英文の卒業証明書をもらう
  もし海外に永住したいのであれば永住権申請時に必要になる
  
• 退職証明書(雇用証明書)
  名前が会社によって変わる、フォーマットが決まってないので
  自分で作ったりしました。
  

おこのみで

  容量は12+3Lは小さいけど、10インチのLet's noteと

私はクレジットカードの保険が3ヶ月ついてるのと
途中から入れるworld nomadsていう旅行保険の会社があるので
そこを頼りにしようと思っています。

• USBにpuppy linuxを入れる
  緊急時ブラウザ見るとき
  
• gpgで貴重なデータは暗号化, bitbucketに保存
  bitbucketはプライベートリポジトリの容量無限なので
  PC壊れてもバックアップしとけばいつでも復活可能

カナダのマイナス20℃の環境に対応できるかわかりませんが
これで、とりあえず出発します。
